Introduction to Tenant Health Checks

Updated: Aug 7

This is the first in a blog series focused on Workday® Tenant Health Checks.

What is a Tenant Health Check?

An experienced, cross-functional consultant will perform a comprehensive review of your Workday tenant. This review will include looking at core configuration, the organizational structure, persona experiences and general tenant setup to identify where the system is potentially not being fully utilized in the best method.

High Level Benefits of Investing in a Tenant Review

  • Identify opportunities for optimization.

  • Align business needs with configuration.

  • Provide your team(s) with a detailed assessment of the Tenant Review, along with recommendations.

Who would benefit from a Tenant Health Check?

Customers who have been live with Workday for 12—18 months will benefit from a Tenant Health Check to ensure that the system is set up in a manner that works best for your company. Now that you’ve been live for a year, your team has adopted some practices – it's time to make sure you are set up with good practices by having the right people in the right roles to lead to long term success.

Customers who have been live for over 18 months will benefit from having a system a Tenant Health Check for any processes that are just not working as expected during design, or which your company has outgrown. This is the time to take a closer look at what works and what doesn’t and make changes to help support a future of growth.

Another key aspect to consider is how well your company is keeping up with Workday updates. Most customers find themselves taking just the required updates and they miss out on the amazing functionality that was released that could make their life better – if only they had time to review, plan and implement the new functionality.
